I have a 66 Buick Electra which has drum brakes all around. I was debating a conversion to disk in the front and was hoping somebody has done this already. My knowlage of 67 electra is limited, but have heard the spindals will be a dirrect swap. Would the upper and lower a-arms also need to be replaced? Is there a more cost effective conversion kit available that anybody knows about?
Thanks for the link, Although i do want to stay with the original question, weather or not a 67 spindal will swap and do i need to replace the a-arms?
Looking at what I have for reference, the '66 to '70 upper is the same. It appears there is a difference in the lower arm between the drum and rotor spindle.
The Spindle appears to be specific to the big Buicks '67 - '70.

The lower A-Arm has a small triangle for the steering stop that needs to be removed when the disc spindles are installed or else you will have no turning radius. Other than that they are the same.
