    HELP: Rocker arm shaft pedestal

Need some help, I decided to start a refresh on my 248 today, engine looks clean on the inside so it should be an easy one to get going again, still may use it in my current project.

When I took the valve train out, I noticed one of the Rocker Arm Shaft Pedestals was loose, after some wiggling, I noticed why, it's broken clean in half.

I checked all the usual places to find a replacement but no luck so far.

Where do I find this part? does anyone have one laying around?

    1947 Buick 248
    Part number 1308711

It's one of the ones with a small screw/bolt in the top to keep the rocker arm shaft aligned.

    Pedestal

    Lowcost,

I have a few 70 series rocker assemblies I don't know if the pedestals are the same. Does anyone know if the pedestals will interchange? If the pedestals interchange, I will sell you a whole assembly at a fare price.

If you check the picture he posted you can see the original part number. If your pedestals have the same part number, the two of you are in business. Good Luck.

The partnumber on the parts Straight80 has is 1308712 vs 1308711 on my part, does anyone know if this is the same part but a later revision? or is it different?

Or in other words, are these parts interchangeable between a 320 and a 248?

If not, does anyone have a rocker arm assembly for a 248 they are willing to sell me ?
