Unfortunately, in one word, NO. I upgraded the drums on my '55 Special back in the late 60's with ones from a '63 Riv. Can use any Full size car from '61-'70. I used '63 because it kept the left hand threads on the left. Starting in '63 they had self-adjusting brakes. Since I'm an auto tech as my living this to me was mostly a bolt-on. Use all the parts from the donor car. Now you will go from, if I remember correctly, from 12x1 3/4 front to 12x2 1/4 front. From 12x 1 1/2 rear to 12x2 rear. Made a HUGE difference in braking potential. The only machining was the inner race needed to be cut to act as a place for the grease seal to seal on & to set the depth of the drum. We're talking almost 40 years ago so there may be some small things I've forgotten. I even used the same wheel cylinders. If I were to do it today I would space the wheel cylinders out with a piece of aluminum to make-up for the wider shoes.
