hubcap letter paint?

What kind of paint would you use in the letters on the chrome hubcaps for say a 1949 Super?

I picked up some paint for the lettering on the hub cap's on my 38 Buick.I got it at Auto Zone,it's called Scratch Fix 2in1.It's made by Dupli-color.You have the choice of using a ballpoint type pen,or a small brush to aply the paint.Hope that helps.

I have used that before and worked real good . The ball point paint pen was great for getting in the tight areas with precision .

I found that it works great for the front grille lettering too.
