    what size width tire can i fit on my stock rim?

    1971 buick skylark 350 2bbl original buick rims-im looking to put something in the rear wheelwell that fills it up as much as i can on the stock rims. anyone know the max size? thanks

    The maximum size that you can put on and still carry a spare that fits both the front and rear is 245 R x 60 15 if your suspension is not new. If you have rebuilt the suspension with new springs, joints etc. to factory specs you may get 255R x 60 x 15s to work.

    You can put up to 275s with stock rims on the back put you woulds need to carry two different sizes spare tires in the trunk.
