Exhaust manifold I.D. ??

I've got a Nailhead manifold, which I think is for a 401, but I'm not sure. I checked both a Buick Parts Manual and a Hollander's Interchange Manual, but they both seem to list part numbers, without reference to the casting number !!

The casting number on the one I have is 1186293-4. Anyone have a identification chart for casting numbers ?

we don't have that casting # in our reference section but it would appear to be near the number sequence for 1959-60 manifolds.

i'm not sure i'd be too concerned about it. externally, the 401 and 425 are the same dimensions and from the casting # list it looks like there's a lot of crossover with the shorter deck 364.
