Well, my 1971 Buick GS engine has now been rebuilt, running superb, and there was an additional hell problem afterwards.
My kickdown cable was shot. Finding one was a real bear!
I found one in the junk yard, for twenty bucks, but I suspect there ain't many left.
This particular kickdown cable goes from the transmission up to the gas pedal.
Most go from the transmission to the carb.
Just another hurdle!

Try Yearone.com lots of parts for the gs 64-72 buick skylark catologe u name it they got it.
The Parts Place has both versions of the cable. One is for the TH350 and the other is for TH400.

Had it since 1984. Second owner.
Transported the car from San Jose' Ca to Knoxville, Tn.
