1962 dynaflow trans reverse problem

hi every one got my g/box out of my 62 electra and got some parts send down to new zealand master rebuild kit and bands ,through talking to a nice man at a trans shop he mentioned that my falt with no reverse is most likely the reverse anchor anyone had this problem with a dyanflow and i hear it's a easy fix that i could do please give some tip before i get the box to the trans guy who may have no idea on this fault thanks.

It sounds like your reverse band anchor is broken. I think that you have to pull the whole tranny apart to fix it. Most all DF tranny band anchors will interchange.
