Hello all, I'm the new guy.

As my username may imply, I have a 1955 special, 2d post.
I'll certainly be asking lots of questions soon, hopefully in the
right sub forums......I'm new to buicks, but not to cars.
The buick is certainly a different animal, but I'll get it figured
out, with some help from you guys I'm sure.

My car runs and drives pretty well, but there's some areas
that need attention, and now....what you've all been waiting for !!!!

Hey Coolride, I'll bet your AKA Sam, from OSR right ??

I'll give you a hint, I traded my Model A project for this car....And I'm going to have to change my user name on that other forum

    WOW!
We have a 55 Special two door post also. It's a three tone (hence the name) Black roof, dark gray mid section and white on the bottom. It's all orignal except for the up grade of a Nova master cylinder to split the brakes front to rear. While our interior is OK it's nothig next to yours, very nice. The more you drive it the more you will agree it is in deed, SPECIAL.

Well, I've been making a few changes here and there.....I'm more into the hotrod look rather than the custom look, so I lost the full wheel covers, and raised the back end a little. I also nosed (partially) and decked it, and shaved the big clunky side mirror and antenna. I also added a little more pinstriping.

More info on the nova M/C please....does it just bolt in place of the factory single jar M/C ??

    Whattya think ??
