    Trunk lock panel repair

Greetings! Any suggestions on repairing the metal around the trunk lock area on my 1964 Buick Skylark? Should a good body shop mechanic be able to fabricate so that the lock will fit or are their patch pieces available to cut out the infected area and replace? My othe option would be to purchase a whole new trunk lid but I would prefer not to go there. Much appreciated! Jerry Tedderdog
