Cool...I walked up to mine in a parking lot the other day and wondered how it would look a few inches lower...what did you to to yours to lower it?
    1953 Special Riviera 45R
    1965 Skylark Hardtop 300-4V
1965 Mustang (in the family since 1968)
    1965 Corvair Monza Convertible
    1965 Dodge Dart 170 Wagon
    1974 Pontiac Firebird Esprit

  3. I`ve lowered it 2,5" in the front and 4" in the rear only by changing the coil springs. But that`s just the look for the season....in the end(october 08), an airride is the right solution for me.

By the way....after lowering it rides great.

Wow ! I like the looks! Clean, proud and polished - way better than your '56...

Well, I guess that rules out you visiting us until the airride is in ? (speed-bumps everywhere around here... )

How is your and your girlfriend's health coming along after your "crash test" ?
A bad solution is applicable to almost every problem !

hey lowrider the car looks great. are your skirts and sunvisor repro or originals, and where did you find them?

  9. @maikl: We`re doing really fine and it gets better every day. I`m already working for about 4 weeks now.

@diego64: I got the sunvisor from a shop in texas(big jims) it`s a 50ìes original, but was produced for chevys i think. so we had to make a few modifications(welding etc.) to make it fit the buick. but now it`s fine. the skirts we`re made by a friend of mine...all real steel.

KOOL! That's exactly what I have in mind for my '53. I'm getting skirts from Big Jim's but I'll have to check on the visor.
