    On the 84 models the 11T = the color of the Vinyl top / top moulding.
    11 = White.
    If this is an all White LeSabre the RPO data sheet in your trunk would
    read 11L 11U. With a Vinyl Top you should see a C04 or C09 and at
    bottom a 11L WA 3967 and a 11T.
    On the RPO Data Sheet the bottom line is the cars Color Options.

    thanks
    it does have a full white vinyl top, the paint color is a burgundy/maroonish color

    here's what the data plate reads: 01C 4BP69 X 157910
    73L 11T LACQUER
    77E AM6 11T
    16 4250 G
    I am curious, the VIN, title and the service parts ID label, and the door sticker all show the model as 4AP69, why is this?

    01C = 3rd week of January Build
    4BP69 X 159910
    4 = Buick Division
    B = Body Platform
    P = LeSabre Limited
    X = Fairfax
    159910 = Sequencial Build Number

    73L = Lt. Maple Exterior, Lower Body Color
    11T = White Vinyl Top

    77E = Interior Trim, Dk. Maple, Cloth and Vinyl
    AM6 = 60/40 Bench Seat with Armrest
    11T = ( in this line ) White Top Mouldings
    16 4250 G = I believe these to be Internal Factory Codes

    Your VIN probably reads
    1G4AP69 _ 1EX _ _ _ _ _ _
    1G4 = U.S. Mfg.,GM, Buick Division
    A = Passive Restraint Manual Seat Belt
    P = LeSabre Limited
    69 = 4 DR
    This location is Engine code
    1 = Check Digit
    E = Model Year,1984
    X = Assembly Plant
    Next 6 Digits are Vehicle ID sequence
