1991 Buick Riv. Oil Pressure Switch

I replaced the switch and now the car won't start.
Does the code have to be cleared first or something like that? Not sure what else to check. The connector is on there good. ???

Check your old oil switch and see if the new switch has the same number of contacts .. your fuel pump turns on with oil pressure and you may have the wrong switch or your contacts may be bent . HTH
