its a piece of cake to remove this starter..uses conventional hand tools, shouldnt take longer than 30 minutes, tops
Hi everyone. I have a question about a car I am going to try and pick up.
It is a 1962 2 dr buick lesabre. The car was parked along time ago, and not driven since I was in high school(or possibly before). this was approximately 12 years ago. The car was parked because of an issue with the starter? I was told their is a special tool (or its a detailed process)for removal of this starter. Is this correct? Just wanted to find out if this was true, and if it could be the real reason it was parked.
BTW extremely low miles all original, no rust, perfect interior, etc...
Thanks

nailheads forever
Is this true for all engines? I do not know what size the engine is?
Never mind, I looked at the reference section and it looks like all lesabres in 62 came with the 401
