84 regal wont start!

Put new battery in it... oil change....New JG Gasgets filter stack.... some good gas (already had some semi-old gas in it) C-1 gas treatment just to get it around town.... been sitting for a min before i bought it but started right up when i put the new battery in it took it to the car wash really didnt need to be driving it untill i got my complete tune up but i couldnt resist! lol anywho i was driving it out of the car wash place to auto zone when about 50 meters down the street the engine just dies!!! It kicks and sounds like it wants to turn over but it never does...I am thinking it might be the wires or distributor or plugs maybe all three??..I mean it needs work.... but what could be some reasons why its not starting now??

is it getting a spark? couldve got some water in the dist.

I bet the ignition control module went out. I had this very same thing happen to Me in my van. driving along, and it just quit. I had the module checked at auto zone, and it was shot. I put a new one in, and it fired right up.
