I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I've never seen a new GM car with red hoses on the showroom floor. And I've been looking at new GM cars since 1955! I could be wrong, but I'd go with black.
ok, here's another silly question: what was the correct heater hose color that was used by the factory: red,or black??
which should I get for My '76 Electra 225 to keep things looking original?

Black is beautiful, and probably original !
I've only seen red hose as aftermarket replacements.
