dual exhaust 1956 with 322 4 barrel carb

does any one know if a 2 1/2" dual exhaust will hurt the perforamance of a standard 322 with 4 barrel? Engine is stock except it has a camkraft cam and is .30 over bore. Or an I better of to stay with the 2"?

I"m not a performance specialist, but I think that you would be O.K.
If you wanted to go with a 4x4 or 2x3 set up in the future, to further increase
performance,Your exhaust system would be able to handle it.

There are different schools of thought that a loss of back pressure may cause some loss of torque.

But like I said I have not don't enough research on the subject.

The guy you should contact would be Tom Telesco (Telriv) on this channel.
Tom could give you the proper answer.
