Suggestions on '69 hi-po chevy into 72 skylark

I need info on any problems someone has come across this metamorphosis. I am a hot rodder from the ol skool era. I have a 10.5 to 1 chevy 350 that I am putting into a 72 sky that was destined for the crusher. Main questions are these:::
1) do I need to hack at the firewall to accomodate the distributer becing in different place.
2) do I need to do anything with the motor mounts?
3) I know I have to get a engine to trans plate for the chevy motor to mount to a B.O.P. trans, does this cause any mounting problems.
4) Should I replace the stock front drums
5) will I rip the stock rear end out.
The car came with stock 2 bbl 350 buick. I have the motor if any one is interested in a rebuildable core?

so why aren't you using a Nailhead or an aluminum 215 or a 455 or a 3.8L turbo 6 or, gee, something Buick?

i know, you've got the SBC already.

shouldn't, it's the same basic frame as a 72 Monte / Chevelle. just get your SBC frame pads and engine mounts and you should be good to go.

why aren't you swapping the trans with the engine? 200r4 or chevy pattern th350's or manual trans bells aren't exactly hard to find or expensive.

if you've got the parts, i would.



5) will I rip the stock rear end out.

would you expect to rip the rear out of a monte with this motor? are you going to be cruising or terrorizing the strip on a weekly basis?

plus i wanna see if it could be done and I got alot tied up with this motor and its already pulling 430+hp on dyno
