Thread: Bob Is Gone

    Bob Is Gone

Well I finally did find a new home for Bob in Bellingham, Washington and I think the new owner will take very good care of him. I talked to them the next day and they said he drove home just fine. (a total of about 200 miles)

However not being very bright I ended up spending part of the sale price on another Buick project. I purchased a 1951 Buick Special in good condition so I still have a car to drive while working on the others.

Although it is only part of moving forward, "Bob" has seemed like a fimiliar part of this site, so I feel a little sadness in his moving on. The new car looks very nice, and I/we look forward to hearing much about it! Does it have a name yet?

I thought this one might end up being called B - 51 but nothings set in stone yet. Most of the time someone else comes up with the name but my 55 buick will be called Fill-us as it will run a dual quad 401.
