I recently acquired a '51 Roadmaster 2 door hardtop and in trying to do research ran across the production numbers, Model 76R-two door Riviera...12,901, Model 76MR-two-door Riviera (Alt)...809. What does the M in the code denote and how can I determine which catagory my car falls into?

Thanks David! I have the model with the works but it needs total restoration. I think I'm going to make a nice custom out of it instead of restoring it to factory specs.
