    '55 Gas Line Routing

I'm in the process of plumbing a gas line from tank to fuel pump (was cut by previous owner) on a '55 Century. Line runs from tank along top of frame rail on drivers side, but is currently severed at front of drivers door, with no line attached to fuel pump. What is the 'correct' route to take in order to get over to pump? I've looked in shop manuals and have come up wanting. Any help?
    Regards,
    Gordon

It should continue to follow the top of the frame rail forward on drivers side but somewhere after the firewall it goes to the inner side of the frame rail and goes through an opening in the front crossmember (the one under the engine) near the inner side of the frame rail. After passing through the crossmember it turns right and is attached to the front of the crossmember with some metal fasteners. When reaching the right frame rail it bends up towards the fuel pump.
    Hope this will help!

    That is correct!

The original line came in 3 peices connected with fittings. The last line runs in front of the lower radiator support and bends and attaches to the Fuel Pump.
