    New to the Board

    So figured I'd say hi,,,have a 1955 ,,nice car picked it up cheap without a drive line.Dropping a 322 with Packard OD trans into it ( soon as I can find a damn flywheel ,,lol ) gonna be a bit of a hotrod but nuthin fancy,,hoping to find the answers i need to make it all work..So yeah tahts about it ,,hiya and have a good weekend

    Welcome to the board. I have a 1955 Buick 2 door hardtop that I will finish as soon as I get some of my other projects finished.

    Yea, tgose Packard trannies are strong & some come with Overdrive. They shift better as they have better synchros, etc. You'll have to make an adapter from a piece of aluminum, I believe they were about 1 1/8th" thick.
