24 lookers but no advise yet. I may be wrong but this really seems like a good deal. I need to make a decision tommorrow (Sat June 2nd) so here are a couple more pictures.
Well I have Bob up and running like a top again and someone wants to purchase him, which creates a problem as I have located another Buick I would like to have.
This 1969 Buick GS with a 455 and automatic is for sale just a few miles from me for the price of $11,950. This seems like almost too good a deal to pass up but it has had the original engine replaced with a 455 from a 73 Buick when the owner blew the engine back in the early 80's. They kept all the GS parts such as the air cleaner etc but they don't know about the heads or cam.
Take a look and let me know if you think this is a fair deal.

Did you try posting the same question at www.v8buick.com ? I've seen this car on Craigslist before, but don't know anything about it.

I would have to see it in person. It sounds like an OK price for a convertible without the original engine in excelent condition. Pictures can miss quite a bit, and I would not want to point anyone in the wrong direction when spending that kind of money.

BIG Difference between a 69 vs. a 73 motor.
Your only getting about half the grunt.
The underside is always a problem with these cars.

Jim-
I see the '62 is for sale so does that mean you got the '69? If so, will you have it at Puyallup next weekend?
