    solid or hydrallic lifters

    i have desktop dyno and when i put in my data it shows that a solid lifter will give me about 50 more tq does this sound right should i go with the solid instead of the hydrallic, what are the adventages. when i called comp cam they gave me a cam and said to get high energy hyrallic.

    what should i do??

    What do you have For Compression, gears, stall speed convertor, Is your car race,street,alittle of both... that will help everyone here help you make a choice on cam... Comp cams isnt the onle one that makes cams for us..

    Anyone in their right mind would use a hydraulic cam... as I slide my solid cam into my engine...
