50/52 buick super trunk lid

Does anyone know about interchanging a 1950 trunk lid in place of a 52? Evidently it can be done. I have a 52 Super and am interested in how complicated it would be to put the 50 lid on my 52.

Called Gary Gerberding's shop in Nebraska who did a 52 Super custom back in the mid 90's. Talked to his son and found out that a 50 2-dr hardtop trunk lid is interchangable with the 52 Super Riv 2-dr hardtop. I haven't tried this yet since I haven't been able to find the lid.

Anyone have a 50 2-dr hardtop trunk lid? Maybe we could do some comparative measurements. If the lid would seem to fit, I'd likely buy it, that is, if you're willin' to sell it!
