I have 1950 buick super orignal with 35000 miles 4 door, also have 1970 225 convertable both for sale.
Ok, someone needs to tell me that this is wrong, or right as the case may be, or just plain waste of time. Since the Roadmaster (at least in 1950) has a wheel base of 126-1/2 vs 121-1/2 for a Special, is it safe to assume that the hood and fenders are longer? It sure looks like that to me in pics.
My project is a 50 Special 4 Door Sedanette. I want to use a Roadmaster frame (or Fenders and hood if need be) in hopes of extending the whole front end those five inches. Ok, I could try to find a Roadmaster 2 Dr Sedanette, but I can't (at least on the cheap) and honestly, although I can't belive I'm saying this, in this body I like the four doors better.
I have this vision of a chopped 4 door sedanette with an extra five inches in front end length. On paper it looks very cool.
Thanks!
Gary

Yes, I the difference is in the front end, fenders and hood. They are longer to accomadate the longer 320 cubic inch engine used in the Roadmaster.
