arcade high score question

are high scores pruned after 7 days?
there are some that date back to mid/early january. not complaining, just curious

apparently not, there's some in certain games going back to january

OK, I don't think the "all time high score" will ever be pruned. The one that is pruned is, "actual high score champion".

that's what we're talking about bob. neither the current 'high score' NOR the 'all time high score' are resetting.

not that i'm complaining mind you, i'm just sayin.

They were being pruned every 7 days

I complained about this, and other people questioned it as well. It seems like they are more permanent now

I think they should re set, if not after 7 days, maybe after no more than 14 days

OK, subject to further comment, they will be prunned every 21 days.

Just a question - why would they be pruned?

I believe the main purpose in pruning is so that the "actual high score champion" must maintain his position or lose it. It eliminates where someone might luck out a score that can never be bettered.
