98 Buick Le Sabre - Power Steering

Hi, I'm a new member with chemical engineering skills and I like to work on my car. If anyone is interested, I can answer questions about travelling overseas with a family and starting up a new oil refinery.

Would someone please tell me where the power steering fluid reservior is located on a 98 Buick Le Sabre?

I know this is a stupid question, but it's not in the Owners Manual. For the last couple of weeks, the steering has been making a groaning sound when I turn the steering wheel in either direction. Might be the weather, because it is just getting cold here in New Jersey. Seems like the first thing to do is check the fluid level.

But I can't find it . . .

Welcome to the site . Your power steering pump is at the pass.side rear of eng. ( under the alt. ) you will need a flashlight to see the fill cap and check fluid level with eng." off ". There was a new design P/Steering high pressure hose for that year ( to stop noise when cold ) Hope this helps .
