    Needed...For 86 Century GS..

I am trying to gather parts for my newly acquired 1986 Century Gran Sport and need some "tough parts to find". I need a front air dam that goes under the front bumper, a hood insulation pad and some other minor parts. Please contact me if you find any of these parts as well as a good set of 2 door doors. Doors from a 82-89 Century Limited or custom as well as an Olds Ciera will fit.Help me save this unique and somewhat rare car (1 of 1029 made) I could also use a seat for the driver side that looks like a GN seat. If pcs are needed,I can supply them. My email is pdharmon@tds.net
    Thanks,Pat

  2. You may see if you can get lucky and maybe have a dealer do a dealer search to see if any one has any parts on the shelf from years ago. Other than that it will be a hard find, you never see any of these cars even on ebay. You may post on the other Buick sites for help also. Good luck.

I have been posting everywhere possible and trying to get part numbers. Problem is, I have guys at my Buick dealer too lazy to look and help me. They refuse to go deeper than whats on their computer. I have contacted GM Obsolete and they aren't helpful at all either.so,I guess its up to my Buick buddies to help me.
I do have some part numbers and can post them if will help.

  4. Tell you what, call my local dealer @ 828-648-6200. Ask for Brett and tell him Joey told you to call and explain the situation. Ask him to do a dealer search to see if anyone has the parts you need. Hope this helps.

    A little update...
I located doors, and fenders as well as 4 original OEM wheels and the front air dam and a rear spoiler. Have to decide what to do about the hood insulation pad yet.Currently,I am working on the car installing an inner fender repair panel so I can get this car driveable next summer.
