    Issues

    The issues im having are that my car is breaking up at high rpm. First, great, second fantastic, third, waa,waa,waa, then gone like the wind.About 4000 rpm it really breaks up. Good fuel pressure,7 pounds holley blue pump.Good carb 750 carb shop carb,crane eletronics in dist good coil, 8.5 wires accel.HELP!!!!

    What power valve do you have in the carb, and do you have extensions in the rear bowl?

    Issues

    Its a quadrajet carb no choke, no idea about power valve no exstensions 2 inch spacer

    Oh, I thought you had a 750 Holley. They have power valves that close down when a certain vacuum pressure is achieved. They are notorious for closing at the top end of the track when vacuum starts to build back up. This causes a similar condition to the one you described as there is not enough fuel. You may want to check your float level. Ignition problems and fuel problems mimic one another.
