    AC compressor replacemet

My AC compressor is leaking at the seals, evident by the oil spray and greenish oil drops while secured. When I do replace the compressor, is a flush of the system required or can I replace, evacuate, charge be done? Thanks for the help.

If you have no noise from the compressor and oil looks clean you should be O.K. with out a flush . Good luck .

Thanks, there is no noise while the compressor is running, just the evidence of oil spray and the occassional loss of freon pressure.

It is possible to just replace the front seal with the correct tools.
