    1949 rear end in a 1952 super??

I came across a rearend for a 49 super or roadmaster....not sure yet. Will this transplant nicely into my 52 super? I'm trying to make this as painless as possible as i'm doing the work in an apt. parking space in another city. All the appropriate 3rd member assembly gear sets i came across are waaaaay too expensive. Any info is greatly appreciated

If the torque tubes are the same length, you can take the 49 unit and put it in without any trouble. Just pull the axles and replace one complete unit with the other. the pig and torque tube are interchangeable ,IF THE TORQUE TUBES ARE THE SAME LENGTH
