    Front springs

I have a 350 in my 69 skylark conv I am putting BBB 455 in it with aluminum intake and heads I was told that without steel heads and intake the weight differance would allow me to keep original springs in car can anyone tell me if this is true or false

There was a difference in springs, but just because you change the front weight a bit doesn't mean you have a problem. Put the car together, the ride height may change a bit. Most people don't care, if you are not happy, then you can consider changeing the springs.
