    Temp sensor?

You can check the temp sensor if you did not already. But if it seems to be overheating the sensor may be ok.

You said that rad. is fine has it been removed and sent to a rad. shop for cleaning ? If it was , did they remove a lot of trash from it ? If so this same trash could be in the eng. block and heater core and cause air pockets or blockage in the cooling sys. and cause overheating . You should check eng. coolant temp with a therm. in the rad. ( watch out for boiling over ) with the rad. cap off. Report back .

With you replacing the Rad. and the eng. is still running hot , the fan is working .. then and cooling sys. appears clean then the next step is air in the cooling sys. Your eng. is very hard to remove air from the cooling sys. without a pressure refill ,but can be done it just takes time . Fill the cooling sys. full with eng. cold then crank and run eng. turn off emg . as sone as it starts to boil over and let eng. cool down ( 30 to 60 mins. may be required ) then refil rad. and crank and run eng. again untill it starts to boil over .. repeat this cycle about 3 times .At the last cutoff let car cool down about 2 hrs. check and refill rad. then reinstall rad. cap and drive car and see if this fixes it .
This is a long process and will work . Good luck .
    Report back . HTH
