    '40 super rear fenders

Rear fenders from '40 Super and Roadmaster all models fit, 2dr or 4dr. 1941 Super and Roadmsr also fit Super and Rdmstr 1940 2dr or 4dr, but have holes drilled for trim for '41 models not found on '40s. GM called these "new for '40 models 'C' bodies and shared rear bodies. Each division welded on the front cowl that accepted the different front clip, be it Buick, Olds, Pont. or Cad. I never tried to bolt Cad fenders to my Buick, but don't doubt one could as rear quarter panels are the same save tailite holes. Reference available from Hollanders Interchange manuals and two different Buick books, '39&'40 GM body service and a Buick '40 only body service manual I found on ebay. Hope that helps! I'd liked to hear more about your project. Best Regards, Greg
