My son and I picked up my new toy last weekend in Portland Or. The only issues were the fuel pump bladder started leaking and spitting gas on the fan. Which in turn force gas onto the very warm motor. Not wanting to burn to death we stopped in Roseburg, Or for the night. Tried the local parts stores and no pump availible for 3 days. So we hard wired an electric pump and headed home 1200 miles total. The car drove very well except the brakes(has fresh rebuilt master) very soft. The tranny shifting very hard into D, L or R and slippage from a stop in D. What a cruiser 90 miles an hour no problem hugged the road I am very happy with my $700 purchase. Any help you can give with the tranny issues would be great. I should also mention I got 17 mpg did not expect that out of this 401 cu in engine.
