The part you have found is the mode door actuator .You might have a blockage in the air inlet at the blower motor if you have all blower speeds but low air flow . Remove your blower motor and look inside for a "Nest built in the housing " . HTH
Hi Everyone, I seem to have very low airflow from all vents in all modes. ^The blower is running fine and I can hear it change speeds as I cycle the fan switch . All the vents open and change as they should. I found a stepper motor behind the dash with a 5 wire connector that can be accessed with difficulty by removing the ashtray-storage drawer unit. Iremoved the conector and checked for voltage. The highest reading was 7.2 on the 1st pin all others were milivolts except for the last one it had 5 volts. None of my readings changed at any settings of the control head including off. Any insight would be helpful as I want to keep this car. Thank You , Arthur.

something I have found is the evaporator core (on the outside) is plugged and needs cleaned out. I spray it with whitewall cleaner and then hose it out
Finally got to pull it apart. My evap was completly clogged with black mung [whatever that is] Anyway problem solved. Thanks All, Arthur.
