    Bad Business

Hate to do this but I don't want to see any one else stung. There is a company that advertises in Hemmings and Buick Bugle that claims to manufacture exhaust manifolds for Buicks, (and other cars). The company goes by MFT-USA and Empire Motors. Buyer beware! It has been 1 year, and I cannot get a part or refund. I was told 5 weeks originally, and have heard other simular stories, from other customers. I have got names and phone numbers of three people at the company that I believe to be the same person. The secretary hung up when I asked her name for my phone records. The business is in El Paso, TX. Take Care, Beware!

    Hey T-Bone

    Sorry about Your misfortune.

I would get in touch with Hemmings.
I understand that they are pretty responsive regarding such matters.

I don't know if they can resolve any issues, but I do know that they do ban advertizers who do not meet standards.

I wouldn't be afraid to mention that you are a member of Team Buick

A group such as ours can be a powerful organization to deal with

That is not good. I have had simular situations happen to me, and got them resolved rather quickly.

first of all, make sure you have the name, address, and perhaps a contact number of the company. Then you contact the Federal Trade Commission, BBB, and the local Attourney General.

You would be amazed at how fast you get action when they begin getting calls and letters from the above mentioned..

Good luck, and I hope you get it resolved.

Thanks guys, I have already notified the BBB and they are following up right now. I also made sure he never advertises in the Buick Bugle again. I sent the company emails letting him know what I'm doing and that it will continue until I receive a refund or part. So where else can I advertise for MFT/USA aka Empire Motors? Is there other forums I can warn about this? other ideas? ~T~
