1992 Buick LeSabre Starter

I can't get my 92 buick lesbre to turn over. When you turn the key, it nothing happens. I have a fresh battery and have checked the connections. When I crawl under the car and use a screwdriver to connect the starter terminals, the starter will turn over and start the car. I have checked all the fuses that I can find. Are there any relays or fuseable link type things that I can check? If so, where the heck are they? Thanks...

you need to use a test light and check for power. start at the starter soleniod and work your way back. but it has a pass key, position switch on the trans, starter enable relay, and ignition switch. i would guess the pass key is bad......but that's just a geuss and it needs to be checked out.

If your security light is on and not flashing ? You are in passlock mode and starter will not work . Most common failure is the Ing. key cyl. ( wiring breaks ) .This would be the best place to start , also if you pull the codes it will show the lockout mode in active mode . HTH
