So visited Grove Radiator in Neptune NJ, great shop, great guys. Outside temp was in the low 80's and humidity was hovering in the 60%. So a good warm humid day for drive there and a a little...
Just got off the phone with Grove Radiator close to where I live, he suggested I come in on Monday, will see what he says, will bring the old radiator with me too, in case.
Will keep you...
Ben,
Hmm, always open to try it, I have a couple of good radiator shops by me, will call them and try it out.

Ben/Bob,
I did the rebuild in the fall right after I got the car, so not sure what it did in the summer before. However after the rebuild it did overheat which prompted me to go with the Aluminum...
Bob,
The original configuration did not have a fan clutch, and there would be no room to add one if I could, the original design was a 4 blade direct to the pump with just a very small hand...

Thought I would share a couple of pics of the restoration on a 1963 Buick Skylark Convertible. Such an odd ball year, I never see them, I found this in a car storage facility 2 years ago, not...
So like a fool I had my hood media blasted with my fenders, it was supposed to be blasted properly. Anyway, the hood is severely warped. I need to find another. I did find one at Desert Valley, it...
Getting ready to strip paint on my 63 Skylark. I cannot figure out how to get the very top stainless trim that holds the window rubber in places as well. I found one screw in the corner which I...
Larry,
Thks - I am aware of those, but I am trying to find out if I can use a neoprene seal from a v6 engine to replace the rope seal.
Anybody try it with results?
Thks
Rich
Fishing around for options on the rear seal, I was advised that the seal from a 64 - 90 V6 rear neoprene seal may work to replace the rope seal in the 215. Anyone have any experience on this one?
