So I just went out and checked function with the parking lights on. The right parking light does not work. The right turn signal only does work with the parking lights on.
Left light works, right does not.
The cross member is Chevrolet. I used the same one to mount a 200-4r in my Skylark. By the photos it looks like it was shortened on the ends, hence the need for the welded on angle iron.
If you...
Just fired up a 64 Skylark I purchased a while back. When going through general checks on everything I observed that when the right turn signal is turned on both front signal lights flash weakly....
Your door panels are definitely 1968 Skylark Custom.
I can't positively ID the pattern on your buckets but they are not 1967. Steering wheel is 67 or extremely similar. With the photo posted I can't...
The cast iron 4 barrel manifold and carburetor made the deal worthwhile. Any other usable parts (starter, flywheel, etc)are just gravy. I hadn't thought about it being part of a pair, but with a full...
Try Original Parts Group. I think they have date coded plug wires.
Does anyone know anything about a marine application Buick 300? It appears to have a 4 barrel and I was wondering if it would be usable as a street engine.

My '67 300 has no tube. The dipstick stopper sits directly on the flat area of the block where the dipstick hole is. Ditto for my '66 340.
Just completed a similar swap. I replaced a 225/ST300 with a 340/200-4r in a 64 Skylark. I used a Chevy crossmember because of the location of the rear motormount on the 200-4r. The Chevy crossmember...
There is a company called "Just Dashes" that will re-cover your armrests (or your dash pad) in the original color. Other than that, the only thing I can say is keep checking E-Bay and Craigslist...
There is supposed to be a big Buick get-together at Templins in Post Falls this September. Perhaps we could meet up in conjunction with that.
You can count me in too!
Hi, guys!
I was hoping to get some insights on hooking up the TV cable from a 200-4r onto the AFB on my 340. It looks like some kind of linkage modification is going to be necessary. I am sure...
