something I have found is the evaporator core (on the outside) is plugged and needs cleaned out. I spray it with whitewall cleaner and then hose it out
the dimmer switch is located on the lower left side of the column you don't have to take the steering wheel or anything else apart other than the dash piece below the column. could just be out of...
what engine does it have?
get the codes out of the computers, on the climate control screen, press and hold off and warmer
the inside door handles are broken where the rod attaches
code 23 is an open mixture control solinoid, make sure you have a good connection. that's the two wire connection on top of the carb
check the vacum hoses for the EVAP system, especialy on top of the engine, the're made of black plastic and get brittle with age. and mice like to chew on them
your car has a remote dimming module. All it is, is a power transister, has three wires going to it, the dimmer on the dash won't take the current for the lights. It is also really hard to get at on...
I'm not sure about this but does it have a drivers door module? I have run into some Park Avs. that do and something goes wrong with the express down. Also some Aurora's that have broken wires in...
a fuel filter is always a good bet, I would also check for any vacuum leaks
I don't know that you will be able to do what you want, there is a lot of computers involved in that system.
I believe this year still has the crt screen, if so there should be a soft key on the radio screen
a lot of the time on these, the wires that run from the ign. lock cylinder break right at the cylinder, pass key doesn't know there is a key in it
does it have injector pulses?
the trans is a 440t-4, or 4t60 same thing different name
could also be drivers side temp door actuator, if it has duel zone A/C, have it checked for codes
actually it will run worse if you take out the screen thing, It straightens the air out as it passes thru, that makes the sensor more accurate.
and a puller for the clutch plate
I know how but it's a bit complicated and requires some special tools if it is a computer controled carb
try some injector cleaner
you never said what year and model you have
if it has a vacuum modulator on the front, no (except for TCC 4T60) if no modulator, yes (4T65E)
try this, pop out the switch, there will be a dark blue and a brown wire that go to the motor, with the switch connected hook up a test light between the wires and it will light when you hit the...
the cam sensor is under the water pump just to the left of the pulley, it's held in by a 10mm headed bolt. if the magnet's missing the car won't start
