The numbers on the block of my engine are (RP 4I8 ) can anyone tell me what that means, because I was told its a 1970 buick 350 with 8.5:1 cr but the charts say 1969 buick 350-4 with 10.25:1 cr.
What is the maximum cam lift for stock buick 350 heads ? I want to install a 268 hydralic flat tappet instead of the 260 I purchased.

When degreeing a cam with the heads on, do I place the dial indicator on the no.1 piston push rod with the old lifter or new lifter?
