Doug..........did you tap into the oil galley with a 3/8" pipe thread ? ...Or , I guess what I mean is what size hole were you able to tap into the oil galley? And what brand filter are you using...

Yes I have a stock cam I can send you........but let me check to make sure the lifter lobes are in the center of the lifter bores......something in the back of my mind tells me that the stock lifters...
I have also found problems with the stock rocker stands,and had to make a set of steel ones.......only to find that the real problem is in the shaft itself........I put a strobe light on the valve...
Are you going to have the distributor gear hobbed on the blank or is that something we will have to do? Can we have the front snout changed to Chevy cam gear set up?..............good to see you...
Jyrki........the pushrods I use with the stock lifter are 13.385" (over all) and that is with the head cut quite -a-bit. So I don't think 12 is long enough on that material you re talking...

39 CENT...........thanks for posting the link on converting to a full flow oiling system..........I think I will copy that to paper and keep ot on me at all times.........I must have had to draw...
I run a full flow oiling system on my engines................prior to assembly, remove the oil pump, clean up the oil passage (leaving the oil pump) with a half inch end mill just far enough to clear...
..........Gerry had told me that we was having stock cams re-ground for his roller cams.......

Paul.....I agree with what you have written.........but I think "scattered valve timing" is what is needed on these engines,with or without EFI........getting these paired vavles to share a equal...
