the frames are the same as chevelle, and the frame mounts...
when can i come look at it? is the roof completelty rusted thru near the back window?

yes
the 350 will direct bolt up to the factory frame mounts, but you MAY have to move the trans crossmember to one of its other mounting holes.
The 64 300 is a heck of an engine, you might try...

i just bought a 52 special 2dr, how can i get one of those flanges that bolt to the head? i'd like to use 2 rochester 2blls, but whats stopping me is finding a flange i can fab a manifold...

i had a 64 special v-6 daily driver(automatic) that had the 1bbl...and it DRANK GAS!!!!!!
i found the aforementioned 67 special, and it had a 2bbl manifold... i used a rochester carb off a...
my experience is that the factory v-6 cars were geared fairly low, 3:23, 3;64, etc, to make up for the lack of low-end torque( i took a 3:90 posi out of a 67 special)
so go with the overdrive,...
i know i've got a 58 manifold in the garage..if it will work, let me know

there are 2 differences...either bendix or moraine master cyl, but some lesabres CAN have slightly smaller rear wheel cyl.
fit and function should be the same, just match...
yes...direct swap...everything interchanges except exhaust manifolds
I havent done it, but you should be able to use a 61-63 center section with your original axles, but you'll have to rig up some kind of upper control arm to keep it in place
