I rebuild the 425 engine out of my 1963 Riviera. At the moment I'm wondering about the correct colors of the engine parts. I know the engine itself has to be silver. But what's about the oil pan?...

I'm actually redoing my 1963 Riviera. One small prob is a leaking out of the torsion bar. At the moment I'm unsure about the 2 possible solutions:
1) if I'll try to reseal it...

I just rebuild a 425 engine out of my 1963 Riv. Neither my original shop/chassis manual nor the electronical one on CD has the specs (clearences, fits, adjustments..) - only the stuff for a 401...

ok, that means the other way round there is no chance to find out, what engine was installed first, when you don't have the matching one in it and/or you don't have the original paper work? Right?
