igot mechanical secondary and when i depress gaz with the engine shut it sqirt gaz so if my secondary open but just air coming and no gaz my engine will stumble?
when i floor it it stumble looks like too much gaz or not enough timing what else should i check?

i just got my 73 455 working its seem do have oiling issue i dont have too much oil on the rocker arm ani have a bad noise seem to be comming from the oil pan which happen to have bs in it no big but...
did you check for bad ground. is the timing on the car and is the distributor well torque sometime its loose

i have one here in canada it s very clean paint red but was punch near the distributor about the size of a pencil so the repair was made with aluminum epoxy and its very nice and clean comes from 455...

well it has a blown head gasket and i need to do it myself by the way the head are now out but i just got i nice luck a 455 1973 with the tranny and evrything for 450$ so i m gonna put this engine in...
all you need is the bellhousing from b.o.p.(buick,olds,pontiac)or even the old jeep and then a muncie 4 speed from any muscle car will fit or if your rich go to summit racing and just buy the kit...

well ,water was coming out exhaust gasket instead of flame so i think a head gasket . the only thing might be if the valve cover bolt had distrac something there but it is big dense pure white smoke...
i tought at first they were for insurance reason the price will go with the hp rating from the factory but hey who knows exept the dyno and even that if all accessorie are plug plus engine dyno or...
