Maybe a tube through the fill hole and use suction to remove the oil? Or you can pull your axles and separate the torque tube and axle housing but thats a big job.
The rebuilt engine has been running great! My friend recently used this Buick in his wedding. here is a picture of my wife and I before that wedding

Ok, I hope it goes well. I would be curious to see pictures if you get the chance
I have those specially made for these kits I sell online. I could sell you just a brake pedal, but you will likely need the rest of the parts including the pedal pivot bracket and main firewall...
I did a 401 nailhead swap into a 1956 Buick. As far as engine swaps go, it was on the easier side. Its a 4 day project if you have your ducks in a row, or a 6 month project if you don't. On the plus...
I have a lot of respect for the owners that go to great length to keep their cars original or at least correct, but you might be on the wrong thread of this website advocating for that haha
Hmmm its showing up ok on my end even when I'm not logged in, that's weird. Maybe try a different browser? firefox or something?
Check out the first page of this thread, there are a few pictures there. Also, I'm not a big fan of the 61 differential swap anyways as there are better options out there.
Did you find an adapter plate to put the 700r4 onto the 322? Ive seen a couple for sale, haven't heard about how well they fit. I'll look for pictures but I don't think I have any. it was just two...
I did the 61 Buick third member and ended up taking it out. Poor handling and gear ratio. I have jaguar independent rear suspension that uses a dana 44 now and its the best thing Ive done for the...
That's a nice 51 Buick! What are your plans for it?
Looking good! its amazing people survived without cup holders.
Heres an example of lifter failure from (presumably!) a failure to add zinc. This is from my personal vehicle so I know it had 15k miles from 2007 to 2017 on the engine, with the cheapest modern oil...
Don't use 00 steel wool! use 000 or 0000
I would not go back to that shop, that's sloppy work to not tape off properly
You're right its not! I am born and raised from Washington, and recently moved back there from Vegas. I suppose I should update my account info so it doesn't say Las Vegas haha
Got some more...
Thats a great looking car! How nice to be in Phoenix too, you can drive it year round!
I was browsing through pictures and had to laugh when I found this! From about 3 years ago. The hood on the far left is now the hood on this Century.

I've been meaning to make new brake and AC parts, and paint in body color. I changed the design of the AC setup a little bit- less bolt holes to hold the cover on. Heres a shot of the new ceramic...
What about a later model 401 nail head? Easy swap and you get rid of that dynaflow and get a 3 speed automatic.
Looks original to the untrained eye. I did one in a friend's 56 Special. I've driven...

Are those front seats going to lean forward to give access to the rear seat? Just thinking because a Pontiac Bonneville is a 4 door.
Got the pistons and rods installed!

Sounds like its time to come over to the dark side and join me with firewall mounted brakes.
