Your assumption is correct, it is a '52. I also assumed the interchange. I don't have a 320 on hand, but hope too soon.

What year did they convert to insert bearings? '49, wasn't it?
That one is so "forgotten" that it is right into the ground, it is little more than "parts".
Sort of thought I would need the ex manifold. All is complete, the last state "inspecton sticker" is 1956. I suspect it got "parked" and forgotten.
I am running into a lot of forgotten Buicks...
I just came across a junkyard Roadmaster with the Straight 8, 4 barrel set up. What do I need to take for a complete set up, beyond the linkage and the air cleaner? Is the exhaust manifold different?
That sounds like a '55 unit, that year the column is straight from the box to the wheel. In '56 there is a rag joint just up from the box.
Attached is a picture of a complete '55 unit. This is...
Don't have a parts book, but there are some differences. The '56 has a rag joint betwen the column and the steering box, the '55 does not. It may fit if you are replacing the entire system.
Part it and buyanother car. Don't cut the roof, you will be sorry. A few examples from my youth. A buddy cut the roof of a Morris Minor, it was freightening to drive. Another buddy built his own...
I am stripping off a '55 4 door, Special, Riviera. Is the trim for the round rear wheel arches the same for the 2 door and the 4 door?
When you say "driver's side" in Australia, which side is that? Is it an American specification car?
I might be able to help. I just sent the last full box to Melbourne that I will be sending for...
I just took one out of a '55 Super. Nothing special. All surrounding trim has to come of (save the screws, unusuall). If I recall, removing the glove compartment box helped. Disconnecting the heater...
My first post here. I was just followed home by a '48 320 and started nosing around.
Well, a note form my experience with turbo chargers and "flow". A few years back I had an '89 Plymouth minivan...
