You can connect a lead from the battery positive to the coil positive...
There are a number of ways to no spark with points. None of the leads can contact the base plate as that is ground. You must also set the point gap as new points are not preset. Get the rubbing...
Not sure, exhaust runs through the later intakes. They get hot enough to burn virtually any paint off. That's the beauty of aluminum intakes. They dissipate heat so much faster than cast iron that...
At idle, the converter should be in high stall, off idle, low stall, then back to high stall at 60% and WOT, when the transmission kicks down. The idle switch and plunger switch makes that happen. ...
Yes, you can use the SP parts and add them to any 65 and up 400 transmission. The switch Pitch transmissions use a special front pump and input shaft, the associated wiring, and of course the...
Posted this on his V8 thread. Like I said there, vacuum line layout is less important than making sure there are no vacuum leaks.
Drive it off the crank for sure. The water pump bearing will not take that kind of stress for long.
This is what I have used for the last 16 years on 2 different engines,

Clean up the hole as suggested. HEI and Points distributors both fit. Corrosion of the aluminum timing cover is very common.
It's a group 24 battery. Simply get the most powerful one you can find. No downsides to that.
I have a 1974 Chassis manual, and yes, it looks the same as 1975. The 5 blade fan is 20". The fact that it is 20" is WAY more important than the number of blades. Your fan shroud opening is likely...
No, the standard fan for A/C and HD cooling was an 18" 7 blade clutch fan. The 1971 and 72 shrouds had a bigger opening, so I would use the bigger 20" 5 blade clutch fan.
Optional Tire was a GR78-15. It was 27.52" in height with a section width of 8.15".
I would go with a P225/70R-15. It is 27.40" tall with a section width of 8.85"
I recommend the Cooper Cobra...
Part number is the same as your current bulbs, probably 194? This is just an example. Shop around and read the reviews, the reviews on these were not very good.

At one time, diesel oil was a good alternative to oil that had reduced levels of ZDDP for emissions reasons, but diesels are low RPM engines with different detergent package needs. The calcium...
Hopefully, you aren't running it old gasoline.

Yes, TA is the only one.
I believe you are referring to the braces that were used on big block and maybe all GS's. They tie together the upper and lower rear control arm mounting points to strengthen the whole area.

Why would you bother with an inferior manual when you can get the Buick Factory Manual?

It's a block/head incompatibility. You may need to block off one of the core holes.

Yes, that is what the specs say. It is gross HP though.

Unless you are going for a concourse restoration that includes the emissions devices (TCS), you don't need a vacuum diagram. The vacuum connection for the PCV is the big nipple in the front...
Switch pitch operation is very simple. There are two spade contacts on the side of the transmission, one is vertical, one is horizontal. The vertical is the kick down, the horizontal is the stator...
